What ages of children do you care for?
We offer preschool classes for ages 18 months-5 years old. We also provide aftercare for children in grades K-5 who attend Davidsonville Elementary.
What curriculum do you use?
Our classrooms follow the Frogstreet curriculum that is recommended by MSDE. We use Frogstreet Toddler, 3s and Pre-K so all lessons are specifically geared towards each age group and are developmentally appropriate.
Do you provide food?
We provide a morning and an afternoon snack. Parents provide lunches.
How do you communicate with parents?
We use the Brightwheel app to communicate with families, send photos and keep everyone in the loop. You will also manage all of your payments in the app as well.
How often do you go outside?
We strive to spend 30 minutes outside in both the morning and the afternoon, weather and temperature permitting.
How often are you closed?
PLC is only scheduled to be closed between 8-10 days per year for major holidays. In the event of inclement weather, we follow the closures and delays of the Federal Goverment.
What do I need to do to sign up?
Please contact us to check for availability. If a space is available and you'd like to reserve it, we will need a signed contract and $100 registration fee to reserve your space.
